As a warrior woman from Norse myth, you know the importance of armour in battle. You guard yourself from enemy attacks with the Valkyrie Pauldrons. Made from 9-10 ounce leather, these Norse spaulders come as a pair. The brown spaulders have upper arm guards. The guards lie underneath the main spaulder section.
Next, the main spaulder section features a unique multilayered design. The main leather plate has decorative plates riveted onto it. This main plate is a dark brown and has a straight top edge. Its sides angle out towards the front and back. Then, the sides gently curve inwards to form points with the bottom edge. The bottom edge forms a wide angle with a point in the very center. Next, there is a decorative piece in the middle of the spaulder, starting with the bottom edge and ending near the center of the spaulder. This decorative piece is also dark brown. In addition to this dark brown piece, there is a lighter brown decorative piece that covers a larger portion of the main plate in an arch shape. Stylized dragon embossing adorns this light brown piece.
Next, the upper arm guards are attached to the main plates of the spaulders. They also feature the dual brown tone design from the main section. They have straps that secure the Viking pauldrons to the arms. Finally at the top of the spaulders main plates, there are four holes on each pauldron. These allow a shieldmaiden to attach the pauldrons to other pieces of armour like the Valkyries Cuirass (RT-168), sold separately. Please note that the harness shown above does not come included and is simply displaying the pauldrons. The Valkyrie Pauldrons make great additions to a Viking warrior maiden costume.
The X Leather Harness (RT-354) chest straps are not included. These pauldrons only have lacing at the top of the shoulders to tie to other armour and lacing around the upper arm. They cannot be worn alone. They must be attached to other armour or straps.

Care Instructions:
- Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
